Darlene is not feeling too well right now, so she might not be posting for a few days. Let's send her some good wishes for a speedy recovery!! Hurry back, Val - we miss you!!!

You know, as we get older, Val, we can't party like we used to - I know, that sucks all of the joy right out of a birthday (Belated Happy B-day, by the way), but dat's jus' da way it is!

its not my "hiney" that's out of gear -- its the left side of my head!!! YECHHH -- thought I'd gotten an insect bite behind my left ear when I was out doing lawn work and flower gardening Monday -- but it got worse and began to cause me horrific pain, so went to see the doctor. YIKES -- its shingles and it hurts 
. I'm supposed to be on bedrest and am taking antivirals and pain meds, so between sleeping and taking meds, I try to surf a bit. The tv is 
(I hate those daytime programs) and reading is good for an hour or two at a time, but then the bones have to move!! Thanks you guys -- I'm trying to get well fast so I can gear up for FC. +1 is a great nurse, though. Maybe getting sick isn't sooooo bad.
