I'm not into photography, but on another note I planted 72 begonias to border the azaleas in the back yard. I was sore for 3 days, so I think I'm going to wait until the lawn maintenance put down pine straw before I do anymore planting. I want to see how the begonias fare before I do anymore marathon planting sessions. My dianthus has really outdone itself this spring and looks beautiful. I have gerbera daisies in bloom that are returning from last year in my perennial bed but the foxglove is looking a little weak. We'll see how it does. I have a large number of angel wing begonias that are sprouting (last year's plants). So far so good but I really miss impatiens. They're so pretty. I'm staying away from them this year due to the disease issues they've had.

This is one water [attachment=38038:waterdrop on ginger.JPG]drop shot in raw. It's a jpg conversion so it loses a little bit but that's from 6'. It's the middle drop on the third picture.

Planted a bunch of Indian Blankets this year. Wanted low maintenance in the hot sunny parts of the garden

My big Mt. Hood plant goes from nothing in the spring to a healthy vine more than 23-feet tall by end of July
It's awesome to watch it grow
If I have had several days of rain, followed by a coupe warm sunny days, these suckers will grow more than 0.75 inch in a 12-hour period
Someday I want my property to be known as The Triple-H Plantation, as in Hood's Hellacious Hops
