Hey, Jerry, my house will close escrow on Tuesday, Feb 19th. How does that fit in with where you'll be? I will be in the area to sign the papers on the 19th, and then to get the stuff done at the house for a week or so, before I move in.

Damn! You won't be around the area on Fri 2/15 will you? I have talked Kathy into driving up to see the house and have lunch with you that day Our host in San Diego will be working all of that day

My tentative plan is to to Phoenix on the morning of Tues 2/19 and my friend is expecting me that day!

Patty...try this. There should be some authorized dealers in you area.

http://www.designcti.com/

I may becoming the authorized dealer in Northeast Ohio. I'd make a house call, but it's a little too far to haul a trailer.

I don't see any testimonals from residential customers up north - OH, MI, etc. - on the CTi site. I have a fairly large driveway that has seen better days with cracking and pitting. I seal up the cracks with concrete caulk every year or two and it's really helped but this does sounds interesting. I presume it's a lot less expensive than breaking up the old and pouring new.

Hey Blue, where were you on your birthday?

I have Premier Garage coming on Tuesday, Feb. 19th to my new (to me) home. (The house is mine on the 19th.) They have my deposit already. They say they can strip the old floor, demo out the old crummy garage cabinets, and have my new floor down, all in the same day. I will take before and after photos to post.

Dave,

I know there is at least 5 dealers in the Detroit area. I spoke to one a couple of weeks ago, but he was a new start-up like me. I would call the toll free #, or fill out the free estimate page. The dealers generally do not compete with each other, and I know that in Michigan for sure, they work as a team.

The average cost (depending on how fancy you want to get) is around $6.00/sq. ft.

That would include crack repair...etc. The product is guarnteed 10 years, but so far in the 17 year exsistence of the company, no installation has "worn-out" or succomed to weathering.

Break-up and laying a new plain concrete drive would probably be in the $10-15 per sq ft range.

Hope this helps
