Once I get the 1920 vintage concrete jack-hammered out of the way; and get a new concrete slab poured; and let it cure for at least 6 months; maybe just maybe I will THEN get a new 4.00/sf finished floor

^^ Maybe you should consider adding a few more stalls to your carriage house while you're at it.
