I predict that they're all going broke.
Then parts will be in short supply.
We'll have to start combining things to create our dreams.
I kind like this one.

General Motors plans to start telling more dealerships that they will be terminated when their franchise agreements expire in 17 months. Two sources familiar with GM's strategy said the automaker planned to shutter as many as 450 additional stores.

Is there a future for the American Auto Industry? I'm not trying to be flippant, but they have not made a car I would buy in at least 25 years.
Unless this changes, who will buy them?

In 1983, when I came off the company car program and was looking to buy my own first new car, I looked at everything out there. I bought an '83 Prelude. My family had always owned Pontiacs, and had recently switched to Mercurys, so I investigated all of them very thoroughly. The quality and value of that '83 car has kept me looking Honda-first ever since.

Can the US industry surpass Honda in quality and value? Anything is possible, but they will have to show me first.

Dave
