I have not been there and NJ wines can be good, and they can be....well lets just say not as good.
Wineries can be "not as good" anywhere. But I'm a little dubious about wine from NJ being good at all. You never know, though. There are some awfully unlikely places that make at least one good wine.

Zippy, Do you know if there are going to be any special events surrounding the NY Wine Trail weekend taking place on Sunday?

I believe that all of the wineries will be open on Sunday. We have a number in South Jersey. Some are better than others. NJ has quite a number that specialize in the sweeter fruit wine, but I have had quite respectable Cabernet from a couple of the local wineries. Turdo, which we will be visiting on Friday, does almost exclusively Italian varietals and I have been told that thay make a fairly good Dolcetto, but I will know that better on Friday evening.
Look forward to seeing you this weekend.

Will you be in on Friday, during the day, or in the evening?
