This video really warms the heart. To know that there are young people out there, that are keeping old school craftsmanship alive.

Cool video and fun to watch. Always liked those. My wife and I drove all the way to Nebraska to buy a 2005 GT40. They had several. I discovered that I didn't fit. With a helmet on I hit the roof. With out a helmet it was very close. They couldn't lower the seat but they did offer to put a Gurney bump on it for $40k. I didn't buy but I should have. I would have been the only GT40 with a Gurney bump.

^ I had the same experience with the Cobra Daytona Coupe. I drove to Indy to test drive it and never fired it up. It was so narrow in the footwell, I knew it would never work for me.

On a more 'economical' note, I was offered a chance to take a Lotus Europa for a spin by the owner I met at an autocross. Forget a helmet. I couldn't even get into the car, And I'm just 5'8" and weighed around 175 at the time. No matter how I contorted my body some part of the car's body or interior would block some part of my body.

Great video of an amazing project beautifully executed. Thanks for sharing it.

My client had a Lotus. He had a S200 before that, when I had my second S. He said "Yeah, then I decided to get something really stupid!" We rode in it to a meeting across town and our shoulders pressed hard against each other and against the door windows. That was a sardine can!

I had a neighbor who was a Ford guy. He was a good mechanic and was working on a customer's Cobra replica. I took him for a ride in the S2000 and his reaction was too good . . . "OMG, this is what he needs instead of that hot tight sight box he has!" Or words to that effect.

When I was looking at higher end used sports cars I had a few dealers point to my S and say you are better off just enjoying that.

The S2000 fulfills ALL my boyhood dreams! Well, maybe not that dream about Cindi, the homecoming queen --- but I digress...
