l^^^ Me too, Dave. Until they drafted Dak Prescott out of Mississippi State, my alma matter. Now I'm a big fan. Except when Dak is not playing due to injury, which has been too often. I do still hold a deep dislike for owner and chief meddler Jones.

Giants 1-0 for the first time in 6 years and 2nd in like 12 or 13.

Honda-- btw, Tex Schramm was the GM during the formative years and into the 80s... I do not believe he was ever an owner of the team.

^ Gary, You are right. Thanks for the correction. I had to do a little research and found out H.R. "Bum" Bright owned the team before he sold it to Jerry Jones in 1989 for $150 millions. Now, the team is worth north of $6.5 billion.

Yes, lunacy at its best. Arguably, thank Pete Rozelle, Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell for there "work" to maximize profits for their owners and players and F' the common fan,.

2000- Average NFL franchise, 430M, today, 4.2B (https://www.statista.com/statistics/...fl-since-2000/)

You aren't wrong, Gary. But football is a business and, like any business, as long as customers keep buying prices will rise and profits will be maximized.

OMG, I enjoyed a Lions game for the first time in many, many years. WOW. And, at the same time, watched as My Steelers sucked.

Thank goodness the Bills won.

Saints lost. Mississippi State lost. I lost in two separate fantasy leagues. Rough weekend that at least ended well.

Miami may be the second best team in the AFC East right now but I think the Bills will handle them.
Speaking of the AFC East, I hear the Pats are showing signs of life.
