OK...on to the Skins tomorrow! Where are our other football crazies?? Now that the regular season is over, you lost interest?

I'm holding and early wake for the Steelers - things do not look good. Offensive line is in critical condition - two positions are only one deep, only one fullback in the squad, Ben has a spriained ankle. It all adds up to a one dimension game of short passes to tight ends or x-overs by Holmes and Ward. Ben will have to get rid of the ball fast. His mobility is comprimized and the line can't protect him reliably.

The defense is even worse. The corners are very vulnerable and Polomolu is playing hurt at about 60%. If Pittsburgh is to win, their special teams will have to do something they have not done consistantly all year. Make big returns and not yield good field position on punt returns and kickoffs. And Rossum (return man) is also playing injuried. AGGGHHHHHH It's like going to a gun fight with a knife - not much chance of surviving.

SIGHGO STEELERS!

Even in defeat, you got'a love the Steelers. What determination to come back in the 4th when down by 18 points to take the lead. No running game. A beat up defense. And they almost pulled it off.

Skins were outgunned by the Seahawks. Not their best effort.

I think the Steelers were out coached by Jaguars. They played a very hard fought battle. Two point conversion attempts twice by Steelers will be questioned in retrospect. A play here and there could have made the difference. But what a run by Garrard. I couldn't believe he scrambled for some 30 yards to set up a field goal. Steelers played their hearts out. This is playoff time and both teams played like there was no tomorrow.
