My youngest grand daughter turned 4 today. Mom let her help making breakfast.

She looks like a good natured and happy child.

For sure; the total opposite of her older sister who 7. The older one is tunnel focused on everything especially learning and over achieving.

Ah, the older achiever and the mellow younger one. Common combination I believe. That describes our two sons as children and as adults.

That was my problem, I was an only child. First born teaches them how to be parents and the second benefits.

My daughter in law was an only child. It's why I have two grandkids now.

I have been dabbling in sourdough bread making lately. I think I got the sourdough starter though I can't be sure if it is legitimate. I am following sourdough starter recipe instruction carefully. However, information on how to bake bread using sourdough starter is somewhat confusing. Do I use only the starter or use in conjunction with the yeast? My first sourdough bread with some wheat flour turned out to be quite hard and very sour. I tried with just white flour and with some yeast and that turned out much better. Any insights would be appreciated.
