My Dad was a pretty fussy eater, and my Mom catered to him.
We kids just had one choice for dinner. Take it or leave it.
Actually, we had to take at least a tiny spoonful of everything and eat it!

As I recall, my father liked canned corned beef hash with eggs. Maybe fried eggs.
My Dad was a pretty fussy eater, and my Mom catered to him.
We kids just had one choice for dinner. Take it or leave it.

We had to eat what we were served also.

When I vacation in some of the islands baked beans are served at all breakfast buffets, I think they get it from the English, I eat it every morning when I am on vacation , very good.

I came home late from work tonight, temps here are 6 degrees F, I had a nice dish of gnocchi waiting for me at home, in a great home-made tomato sauce. Really good comfort food after being out all day.

I don’t mind it I used to have some and I’ve done it with breakfast as an adult if I had leftover beans.

In an attempt to cut back on sugar consumption, I bought this popcorn maker. Just put in the desired amount and pop it in the microwave. (See what I did there? ) It pops in three min in mine. No oil. You can put butter if you want. I bought a package of three kinds of popcorn and five kinds of seasonings. Very easy, fast and tasty! The plan is to not eat cookies, pastries, etc.

Years back when our son was young I bought a Scooby-Do popcorn maker - hot air popper. Scooby's body holds the hot air popper, then his head attaches on top, and the popcorn comes / pops out of his mouth into a dog-bone shaped bowl. We still use it to this day, I love popcorn.
