We often have yogurt that goes past the due date and milk, I think due dates are based on taste more than the product going bad and making you ill, and of course they want you to buy their products more often so the due dates are far on the side of being cautious. I eat expired yogurt and we drink expired milk often, we never found issues with items that 7 days or less past the expiry date. I will do a taste and sniff test every time, but never had an issue, and we have never found any sour anything.

I have eaten yogurt way past the use by date many a time. And, I am still here to tell the story.

A funny story about expired yogurt. About 19 years ago, our daughter, a first time mother, called me because she was very worried about her infant daughter. The baby’s great grandmother had fed her some expired yogurt.

I tried to assure my daughter that it was probably okay, just to keep an eye on her baby daughter.

On a more pleasant note, our dinner last night was delicious. We split a caprese salad with prosciutto, Vito had salmon penne and I had veal piccata. Then we went to our local French bakery and split a piece of raspberry white chocolate cake. Yummy…

Well I do shower, and I don't wear diapers like he does, among all his gross habits. lol.

But seriously, expiry dates are simply a suggestion , it doesn't mean things necessarily go bad by those dates.

A neighbor brought over an extra Olive Garden salad tonight. Finally something healthy today after eating a coney, fries, beef jerky, and taco's! Quess I didn't get enough junk on Super Bowl Sunday, that I washed down with four beers.

They make a good salad, I miss Olive Garden, they left Canada decades ago even though the one in our home town was very busy and profitable.

Barb made some shrimp scampi last night.
I just had to force it down
no not really, since I want to shed a few pounds, I behaved.
I also don't want my gout to flare up either.
