Joey, I just eat what's put in front of me. Or try to.

We may have bought one of those along the way and I think our opinion was the same as yours.

Rick will cube up the loin to marinade then grills it on skewers.

^ we don't eat a lot of pork, just the occasional pork chop here or there shake and bake style, some sausages here or there, and never had pork loin. I'd like to try it if someone made it for me, but I don't think we will ever make it at home. Those recipes look good though.

I use okra in my gumbo…pretty much a requirement. And I love okra stewed with tomatoes over rice. I never fry foods at home. But I like fried okra and fried pickles.

Glad to see you have not lost your appetite, Grant.

Hi MsP
It's become a hobby. I've worn out one kamado and am on my second. Here's another way to use pork loin. It's made on a Trompo. Last is a pork loin sliced the long way and woven with pineapple in between. Sauce runs down the twists while it smokes. Darth Vader ball is hot breakfast sausage with pepper jack cheese in the middle and rolled in fiery hot crumbled Doritos.
Fun being back in here. Glad I found it again.

I stuck a crowbar in my wallet and picked up a steak for a late dinner tonight. Had a hankerin' for steak and egg noodles but they were out of egg noodles so got a side of garlic/parmesan shells for a side dish.
