Yesterday I bought a dozen large eggs for 5.98. Supply was low, but prices can be all over the place.

I can't think of a single item that has gone down in recent times.

Our yearly carbon tax increase hits April 1st, so basically the price of everything goes up that day as we need freight to get everything here and carbon tax hits fuel immediately. Then the brainiacs that are running our once "great" country wonder why they can't keep inflation under control, so they need to keep increasing interest rates to combat their own inflation generating policies. Things are stupid as ever here.

Food is getting a bit funky too one really has to be careful. I bought a package of ground turkey last week and used some of it and put what was left in the package in my fridge all wrapped up. It was in the fridge for a couple of days and it had a funny smell to it and it didn’t look right so I tossed it even though it had a sell by date of 2/28, I had thought it smelled a tiny bit funny when I first opened it also. My Dad sends me a box of honey bell oranges every January and they are always excellent but this year they weren’t that good most were a bit sour.

I've been drinking Perrier since maybe the mid '70s. I went out today to restock the garage fridge. I bought three cases and the bill was $75. I may stop drinking water.

I like Perrier too Harry, but it is pricey now, we have some good Canadian brands of carbonated spring water that are pretty good and about 75% cheaper than Perrier.

Now until 2/28, Costco is having a deal on S. Pellegrino Sparkling Mineral Water. This is for a 24 pack of .5 liter (16.9 oz) bottles of sparkling mineral water.

The regular price for S. Pellegrino Sparkling Mineral Water, 24/0.5 L is $17.99. There is a $4.50 off instant savings offer which brings the price down to $13.49. That works out to $0.56 per bottle.
Very close to the Kirkland brand which is bottled in Italy at the same place.
