I don't remember reading about what caused the original engine to seize, was that ever communicated to you by the service people after they tore the engine apart?

Mike let it run low on oil. Juuuuussst kidding. It was full of oil.

Hey Mike, this time if there is special oil in the engine, make sure it is the "break in" oil instead of the "break down" oil.

I asked again today... but they said they didn't know.

I doubt they would want to make it public...

I mean... if somebody left a monkey wrench in the engine.... and QC didn't catch it... would they want the world to know?

The tech's at Hyundai said they do not use a "break in" oil..... so I plan on changing it at or under 1k miles!

Bought two oil filters when I was at the dealership!

Do you expect this one to last longer without tires?

That would not be a help to Mike. He doesn't drive the car long enough for it to need an oil change.
