I don't have turkey's on my list but we have them in the yard a lot. When you're too fat to fly are you really a bird?

Not too cute but neither was the small rat I saw scurrying from under the feeder to a hiding place under the shed. Moved one feeder away from the area, replaced with suet...May let the other feeder go empty for a while...until we see if we can eliminate this critter. Hadn't seen any evidence of these creepy critters in a while. I have zero tolerance for them.

I actually like opossums but I would never try to get close. A few years back our Great Dane was having a great time in the yard at 3 am. He actually "dropped it" when told. The next morning +1 had to go out to see if the opossum had been playing or was actually dead. No sign of the opossum, we were both glad.

Got lucky back in 2012 while in Florida... the condo we rented had a big tree by the shoreline. The owner had told us to look at the tree in the mornings. Sure enough, every morning this guy/gal was out there!

They are an awesome bird. We see them flying in the woods around the lake we vacation at up north.

We just had a couple of Eastern Blue Birds visit our feeder. I need to get the camera out and start documenting them.

Hum, they usually head south in the fall. When we do see them, usually spring, its only for a day or so..
