My +1 spotted a hummingbird at the feeder on Monday. Friends nearby have also spotted them.

I find my seed isn't disappearing too fast. I think this is typical this time of year. Maybe the nesting thing is happening.

That's OK with me, as long as I see a few of my favorites stop by daily, I'm good.

I thought I saw a hummer at our feeder this morning but my eyes weren't quite open yet.

What is the blue bird? It's not just a blue bird is it?

Beautiful birds.

I have what I think is a song sparrow singing to me outside my office window. If I was not worried about waterfront "critters" I'd put out a small feeder.

I agree, Sue. What is the bird in the second picture? An oriole?

Dave's earlier post said the indigo buntings have shown up.

Thanks, Patty. We are supposed to have them around here, but I have never seen one on my feeders. A beautiful bird!

Ding, ding, ding, You folks answered your own questions correctly! I love the constrasting color of seeing these two beautiful birds against the fresh green grass and bushes of Spring. Neither stay around long so we really appreciate them when they visit.
