I tried to get a few shots, but could not get a decent one through the window, and the birds were much faster than I am....

I call these guys the pretty pigeons. I hung around on the side of the house near the feeder. This guy was hanging around too.

Still can't grab a decent shot of the other visitors. I like shots when they are in a more natural environment vs the feeders, but they are just too darn fast for me, and I don't have all day to sit/stand around waiting. It's not like I'm retired like some of you.

We call them "stupid". They are constantly flying into our kitchen windows. The wife keeps telling me I have to stop cleaning them.

Finally put out a hummingbird feeder......

Looks like we have one dominant hummingbird, that keeps pushing other hummingbirds away from the feeder.

Guess he/she has laid claim to our feeder.

One of these days I'll get a pic or two!
Here is the little guy who keeps all the other hummingbirds away from HIS/HER feeder!

Rick and I were on the deck yesterday doing nothing much, along with a little bird watching. The hummingbirds must have been exhausted. We have three that were constantly chasing each other off from the feeders and the flowers. Late in the day we did see a couple of them having enough time to grab a snack, but with all that dive bombing going on, not sure any of them had enough to eat yesterday! I know when they start doing this, it means they will be leaving soon.
