Here you go Dave, a few more birds, but not from my back yard.

Cormorant on the Cape Cod Canal. Gorgeous, if a bit windy summer evening on the canal.

Had to crop these two quite a bit, but I have a heron and an osprey for you too.

Beautifull. Birds are so magnificent whether they are as tiny as a humming bird or as tall as a heron. Aren't they amazing creatures, because we see them everyday we hardly ever stop to think about how they do what they do or how they survive in their environment.

^ It's going to be 90 here tomorrow; I'm sure I'll see some similar sights but we make them use tree branches. No lounge chairs here.

Finally put out a hummingbird feeder......

Looks like we have one dominant hummingbird, that keeps pushing other hummingbirds away from the feeder.

Guess he/she has laid claim to our feeder.

One of these days I'll get a pic or two!

Birds photos are awesome! I had a hummingbird come right up to me watering flowers. Drink from hose's water stream. No. I didn't just smoke some funny herbs!

I put a feeder on the side of the house, just because. The neighbor has an old pine tree that really needs to come down. Thankfully, it's leaning his way. However, I didn't realize what a safe haven it is for the birds. They fly in and grab some food and fly back into the tree. In 10 minutes this afternoon I saw three chickadees, a titmouse, male and female goldfinch, house finch, white breasted nut hatch and a sparrow, along with three mourning doves, and a squirrel. I don't usually see that much activity in the back yard, even though the feeders are near the tall evergreens which also provide shelter for the birds.

I tried to get a few shots, but could not get a decent one through the window, and the birds were much faster than I am....
