I finally was able to get a few shots of a hummingbird near flowers vs the feeders! Rick planted these zinnias for the butterflies, however the hummingbirds are enjoying them too!

We have one male and one female hummer that come to our feeder. If I'm standing still just a couple feet away they pay no attention to me but if Roxy is there, they are gone! We rarely see them on the fuchsia's that were to attract them.

I've seen two males at once, can't be sure how many females. They are now starting to chase each other off from the feeders. I have two feeders, one in the back and one on the side yard.

The hummingbirds are fueling up for their long trip which will happen soon. Lots of activity at my feeders. I don't think I've seen a male for a few days now. It's always sad (for me) when they leave. I enjoy feeding them and watching them chase each other away from the feeders and flowers.

I'm still making lots of hummingbird juice. Still no males, so I guess they have migrated. This one chose the juice over the flowers the other day, though I see the hummingbirds in the flowers too. I'm hoping the flowers last until more butterflies show up.

I put my HB feeder back out and they are going crazy fighting over it.
