I think the jelly was too thick, they were flinging it everywhere. I read that if you thin it a little they have an easier time with it.

We have oriole feeder designed for jelly (kind-a-like a hummingbird feeder but different) and have not noted any issues.

This is our "two fold feeder". Regular hummingbird liquid fills the bottom half which they can reach by the small white holes between the cups. Jelly is put into the cups on the solid top portion. Hope that makes sense.

I rarely see birds bathing in the bird bath. They mostly sip water and often leave "deposits."

The last couple of days, I've seen a robin in the bird bath. Of all the birds I have seen using the bird bath to bathe, the robin seems to enjoy it the most. He/she REALLY looks like a good time is being had.

I see birds bathing all the time in ours but then I stay home a lot!

Some birds built a nest in the eaves in the front of my house. I thought of moving it but thought it would be better to leave it alone. Generally the rule of them with nature is to leave it be animals know what they are doing. I have a neutral colored wreath to the left of my door and noticed yesterday that they also built a little nest on top of that!

According to https://nestwatch.org/connect/news/i...act-clarified/, "It’s illegal to move a nest just because it’s inconvenient to you." There are exceptions and this doesn't apply to non-native species (House Sparrows, European Starlings, and Rock Pigeons).
