Nice, Dave. I don't get those at my feeders Would have to look at the map to see if they are in my area.

First hummingbird sighting today!

We hit the trifecta today. For the first time this year we saw a Grosbeak, then an Oriole and a short time later a Hummingbird!
I was so excited that I did get any pictures.

No birds in photo but I put this hummingbird feeder out and was bringing it to a better location in case of strong winds and heard a hummer buzz by. I put it back and went inside. The hummer came back and drank. Yay!

Dave/Scooter I only get one of those in my yard, though an Oriole stopped by ONE time. I saw this bird in the woods of CT. I wasn't sure what I was looking at. It was VERY small and fast. My bird friends confirmed it is a blue gray gnat catcher. I'm not expecting one in my yard.

Babies in a robin's nest that is only about 2.5 feet off the ground but it is a very thick shrub.

Talk about artwork! This tiny nest showed up in the yard.

Top view on nest. About 3.5". Hummingbird maybe? Or??
