Feeding the Birds

I don't mind squirrels but I most certainly do not want them on my roof. I would have tree trimmers cut back anything close. It would take the leap of death to get on my roof.
We had people move into our sub which has tall trees and pines everywhere and then they just start chopping them down. Oh, they just realized trees have leaves, pine needles fall and sometime lots of branches come down in bad storms. Of course, that's why the Michigan dream for most is to own 5 acres. We looked for three months but as a car guy - - it couldn't have dirt roads - - still feel the same way and have been very happy with where we ended up.

Did you look up the taxes for 100 acres. Still, that's a steal for sure. Was that for the house or the village? Something smells wrong . . . sitting on a dump?

it was an absolute auction. not a lot of folks showed up. You had to pony up $50K deposit to bid.

I ordered a Bluebird feeder today. We have had several Bluebirds around but they seem to get bullied by the other birds and don't get to feed. I'll see if this helps.

Bluebirds never hang out long at our house. They stop by every year but quickly move on.

We have them and it helped when the neighbor was feeding them meal worms but she stopped last summer so I will have to take care of them.

A Bluebird is in the house! Not a great picture but it works.
And in the peanut box.
