Nope, not a software background. A couple of tweeks in editing but that's it. My editing skills are very limited. The bird moved around to different rocks, so the background was different. Just got lucky.

MsPerky, that third one down looks like it has passed away. Sorry if it has sentimental value.
Oops, this was supposed to be in the Christmas tree thread.

Well, the bird feeders are filled. I hope they can make it last for the next twelve day!

Donna's gone over the hill. She paid $5 for some special suet with real earthworms, etc. as a Xmas present for our backyard birds. What's normal suet? $1 or $1.25.

I spend about $2.50 on suet that has cayenne pepper in it. Worth it vs the $1.00 suet. The squirrels don't even bother with it. I hope your backyard birds enjoy their Christmas present.

The bird watcher says they love the high price spread. Squirrels are never an issue for us.

It's cold out. I went to the Y, took care of feeders and bird bath and have been inside since. Blue Jays got extra peanuts tossed out. The squirrels beat them to some of the peanuts. Tossed out a mandarin orange that just wasn't sweet enough. The squirrels love those. If I have one that appears past it's prime, I quarter it and put it outside. Gone in no time. Today I had peeled one, took a section and it just wasn't sweet enough. Tossed on the lawn and the squirrel enjoyed.

Clean feeders, fresh water in heated bird bath, and the birds came to call. Nice show out the window. Northern Flicker, Red Bellied Woodpecker, Downy Woodpecker, Blue Jays, Cardinals, Chickadees, White Breasted Nut Hatch, Carolina Wren, Mourning Doves, Tufted Tit Mouse, White Throated Sparrow, and the ever plentiful House Sparrows.
