yeah now i'm not saying I am a subject matter expert on rumps, but his rump ain't yellow.

There are yellow feathers on the rump, not always easy to see.

On the first picture you can see just a spot of yellow hidden by the wings. You just need to spend more time looking at rumps!

We have a lot of warblers here, but no yellow rumped warblers. They are adorably cute little birds and my favorite is the prothonotary warblers that come to drink and bathe in my fountain. Adorable and really good pics, Scoots.

Great shots Scoots. Our feeders have been like grand central station this week. We have not put out the hummingbird feeders yet; probably should. Here's a picture I took a few years back that kinda captures our bird haven.
