Thanks for the photo compliment, Jim, and other pals. I have a couple feeders right outside the kitchen window. It does give me some good photo ops. I'm waiting for the nut hatch and chickadee to visit those feeders to try and snap a pic of them.

I don't see too many different birds in the winter. The dark eyed Juncos will appear soon, and I may have a few different sparrows as mentioned. Looking for my Carolina wren too. He/she generally feeds right outside the window on the suet.

The birds are enjoying the buffet. Two of three seed feeders were empty today, and it had only been a couple of days since I had filled them.

^ Always amazes me - we NEVER have had two eating at the same time. Fighting, yes....eating, no.

I think they're migrating to Mexico. I don't have as many most times of the year but two is not uncommon.

Arggghhh.... catching more sparrows in my chipmunk trap than chipmunks!

Think I'll move it to somewhere else in the yard!

Saw a nice Sharp-shinned Hawk in the neighborhood the other day as we walked the dog....

Did a nice flyby!

Damn skunk is back at night. A big fat one was there every night about 3 weeks ago. Then suddenly he was gone. The wife saw one dead on the road about 1/2 mile away and we were sure it was him. No such luck. As we went to put out the dog last night there he was at the bird feeder again.
