That is a beautiful photo of a beautiful hawk. Sorry he's scaring away the rest of the crowd.

Rick baited some blue jays with peanuts while I was home at lunch. I may have a share worthy photo to post later.

My bird activity is on the slow side right now. Not filling the feeders as much as I was. No hawks, but there is that gray and white kitty....

Nice picture! I like how the Jays will pick through the peanuts to find the one they want. Just went out this afternoon and bought 25 pounds of peanuts.

Thanks! I haven't seen them being too picky. We line up a few on the railing, put some in a dish and they all disappear. 25 # is a lot of peanuts!

25# is a lot and I wanted a smaller bag but the were expensive. Still cheaper that renewing my BJ's membership and buying them there.

Looks like a wisdom tooth, he knows where the good food is.

I thought this was an interesting article about how birds stay warm in the winter, as well as a stunning photo!

I just put out my new heated bird bath and a new hanging feeder with shelled peanuts in it. The bird bath is in a temporary position. It's dark out now so I hope I see some morning action, tommorow.

That should attract some of the "good birds" maybe a few of the annoying ones too!

Nice bird bath too!
