They're cute, but a pain along with constant complaints from the neighbors.
I feel your pain....

Had a couple decide to take up residence under one of the overhangs of our house this year...

Even with dousing them with water multiple times a day... they seemed intent with staying there...

Seems like they are gone now (thank goodness)....

And we have a lot less little squirrels running around lately....

Maybe they have moved? Hopefully!

We just had a Baltimore Oriole outside our window. What a beautiful bird!

Question for others, do you leave your feeders up and full all year round? I generally take my main feeder and suet down but leave the finch and hummingbird feeders up. Just wondering.

All my feeders stay up. Mass Audubon says feeding birds in the summer is just fine. Where was the Oriole feeding? They've been spotted here, but never in my yard.

It landed on top of the hook that holds my hummer feeder.

Best Hummingbird Feeders

I am going to buy a new hummingbird feeder and came across a feeder rating list. The one I normally buy is on there but I might jump ship and go for a different one.

I have #13 on the list, but the "flowers" are a bit faded. I also have an older one with perches. The perches give them a chance to rest. I've had cheap hummingbird feeders that work just fine. They aren't very picky. I do like a decent looking feeder over the cheap ones though.

^From 1-17-2014.

^I was planning on buying one of these like I have already in Cali but the reviews say some tend to fall out of the metal holder and crash to the ground. I guess the original company was bought and the cheaper newer version isn't up to the old quality.

**EDIT** ^I did order one on Amazon. It's worked great for me in the past.
