I enjoyed hearing the statement today, something like Almost everyone agrees that changing weather conditions make for a good race! No $hit, that's why I love F1 rain races. Otherwise it is Steve Matchett telling you what a WONDERFUL race you are watching when no one is passing and everyone is in pairs based on the manufacturer.
Congrats Lewis.

I was wondering how Hamilton was going to get past Rosberg during the final laps. I didn't see what caused Rosberg to go off course, but it worked out well for Hamilton. Rosberg was visibly disappointed and surly at the podium. Vettel's run was just a bit too late in coming to spoil Hamilton's day.

I didn't tape it long enough to see the podium but I did see him toss that hat back at Hamilton..... he was not happy.

these guys have been competing head to head since carting as kids.
Rosberg obviously had the golden path because of his dad.
Hamilton because of his talent.

^Yeah, that was a lot of fun to watch. I was surprised by Button's comments after the race though. Too bad the electrical gremlins kept Alonso out of the points.
It was great seeing some actual racing throughout the event. Vettel & Verstappen had nice runs.

Just finished watching my tape of the final race of the season. Unreal how no team could touch the Merc's all season long - congrats to them and Lewis. Interesting swing in the final races but one has to think Lewis wasn't really pedal to the metal after securing the World Championship.
Honda didn't set the world on fire, that's for sure. Ferrari, hopefully, will make a battle out of it next year.
As always, there were some races I loved and some the bored me to tears. That's modern F1 races. Some tracks are great, some suck, and sometimes it's all about the weather - which seperates, IMHO, the really good drivers from the rest, no matter the machinery.
