OK.... do you normally click on the emoticons, or have you used them enough to just type them in instead of searching?

Of course you have to put a : in front and at the end of each string of letters!

I haven't memorized all of the codes, but I know a small number of them well enough to be able to type them. Sadly, I will sometimes guess or remember wrong, and then I end up with :hattip: instead of or :thumbsup: instead of .

Off topic, kinda. But, found a TON of emoticons on my Samsung S4 (also on S3 and 5's). Prolly already know this... but, here goes:


1.) When virtual keyboard pops up, HOLD the "mike" button down. It's next to space bar.

2.) Click onto emoji smiley face icon. Voila!

3.) Note all the other emoji's available at the bottom (Dog, House, Symbols).


Exciting. No?
