Default Doo Wop

I know I am not alone. But this sound drives me nuts. We just came back from a great night at a friend's cottage... you know the routine - wonderful lake, great breeze, good food, good friends, etc. The perfect night. Then, I turn on Public TV when we get home (after midnight) and they are playing Doo Wop... Earth Angle, In the Still of the Night, etc..... NOW, this is the perfect night. Gawd, I love this music. I am instantly 50 years younger! Not that that matters.... been there, done that. But the SOUND. Nothing like it. Like I said it drives me nuts. Thank you Doo Wop!!!!!!!!!! I love it.

We get a few Doo Wop concerts here at the beach. The Tokens, Lou Christie, and others. This music will never die. Even my kids/grandkids like it.

I knew Lou before he became "Lou". Real name is Freddy Sacco. We saw his concert last December when it was in Dearborn, MI and then we met with him back stage.

This is one of the exhibits at the Ford Museum, a 1960 sign from the second McDonald's built in MI.
