Is it just me or are you finding things running reallllllllyyyy slooooowww today? Once this morning, right before my eyes, all the fonts changed!! I'd think it was my computer, but +1's having probs with his laptop as well, ie sites loading slow, connections not going through, etc. Maybe its the WorldWide Web.

No, it's not just you. My browser (Firefox) timed out while trying to log on to S2KI this morning. It seems to be happening more and more for in the past week or so. The strange thing is that I don't seem to have the same problem when accessing other sites.

Funny I have Firefox as well and that's what I used today. The one thing I do note is Firefox does not work as effectively on this site as IE, as I have both, when it comes to going to the first unread post.

I haven't been able to log on or even get to the site from home since Wednesday morning (it is now Thursday afternoon). I am posting this from work.
I can't get here from either IE or Firefox.

At home try going to http://64.62.178.153 and that may get you to S2ki. If it does you have a dns issue meaning your PC or your ISP can't resolve the domain anme s2ki to it's IP address (64.62.178.153) which is necessary for your browser to reach it's destination.
You can also try opening a dos prompt (start-run-cmd press enter) and type
tracert www.s2ki.com and hit enter
and it will show you the route it takes to get there if it is able to resolve the name.

If you had a virus the Norton AntiVirus would likely disable it.
When I first had such a problem, I ran a system roll-back to a previous date where the computer worked well. That worked, but it kept happening periodically, that I couldn't get into common websites.
Then I start using Ad-aware 6.0- running it daily and deleting all quarantined spyware- there is usually alot each day.
Once a week I go to Start/ All Accessories/ System Tools/ Disk Defragmenter. Click the defragment icon and let it do its work.
This noticeably speeds things up for a few days.
If you have a way to clear your browser cache, that will enhance performance. AOL provides me with a menu for that.
