Do your children know how to manage their money?
There is an article in the current Newsweek magazine that basically says American college students do not know how to manage their money (http://www.thedailybeast.com/newswee...-finances.html). Do you agree or disagree? How did we (as the vintage generation) learn how to manage our money but yet our children do not know how? Have we (as a generation) failed our next generation?
It also happens that there is another article in Newsweek that talks about the poor education American students are getting compared to the rest of the world (http://www.thedailybeast.com/newswee...the-world.html). Whereas other countries value math, science and language, in America we value sex education, tollerance of different life styles, and self esteem (these are all required by law in California public schools).
The two articles together paints a very discouraging picture for America's future generations.
