Nope, but I have spoken with owners of performance cars at car gatherings, club events and meets talking about the gas crisis from time to time. It was very interesting in hearing them say "I had a 1969 427 Corvette and I trade it in for a brand new Honda to save gas." I know a lot of them wish they kept their cars instead of trading it in for economy cars. I even met an owner that had a hemi charger and he pulled the engine out to put in a 318. He hated the Charger with the 318 so much he traded it in for a Datsun. He forgot about the Hemi engine in his storage for 14 years. He was lucky enough to find his original Charger to buy it back and put the Hemi back in again. He said he fell in love with the car all over again. He is one lucky SOB. I guess there is no subsitute for big block engines

I remember trading my 79 Trans Am 400 TA, (1 of 4000) for a Datsun 280 ZX. That was my first 2 seater.
Now I have a 2 seater thats faster than my Trans Am, and gets better gas mileage than my 280 ZX
