.....Why would people remove towel rods when showing a house? Is that supposed to make it look better?

They didn't want to move lots of their big stuff so I ended up with some great newish things but maybe the towel racks were easily packed.
My seller was the same way. But mine left the towel racks -- complete with new towels on them. He also left a 1 year old fridge, coffee maker, cleaning supplies and construction supplies (including mahogany lumber). He also left me a bucket of antique (or maybe just old) bottles that were dug up when he excavated the cellar.

I have two teenagers in the house, I seem to lose a awful lot of things....
"gee I seem to remember a mouse was attached to that computer the last time I used it."
I tend to agree with the eyeglass thing. I vary between 2 and 5 sets.
I gave up on the prescription based type
I'm brutal on sunglasses.

I have the same problem, glasses. I like the Honda Accord at least I can always find the sun glasses in the sunglass compartment. As far as reading glasses, I haven't purchased prescription glasses in years. I just have several pairs of the Walmart specials laying around in different rooms. When I go out, I usually forget to take any with me and have to rely upon my wife's glasses to read. I have considered Lasik, but decided that I didn't want anyone to cut on my eyes.
