Do you ever feel old?

Are you sure? If so that's really disappointing. I liked it better when I could blame it on American Motors Corp.
If it makes you feel any better, the Wrangler was an AMC design, and Chrysler built the '87 and '88 using AMC's tooling, dies, etc..
Chrysler didn't fare much better than AMC for the first few years of production - Peugot split case transmissions (big piece o' crap), and light duty transfer cases and axles. While Chrysler kept the Dana 30 live axle that AMC had used in the front, they dropped the use of the fairly stout AMC 20 rear axle in favor of the Dana 35 (another big piece o' crap). To be fair, both companies had to go with lighter weight components to meet Federal emissions and MPG mandates. The early to mid seventies models were made of much stouter stuff.

Back on topic, in these last few weeks I've been feeling much better, much younger. I don't know what happened, but I'm full of energy again. I don't feel quite so old anymore.

Sorry if this posted twice.
Today I felt OLD!
I went to the doctor for a small growth on my scalp. Good news, nothing cancerous or anything to worry about.
Bad news, the brochure they gave me about these things calls them 'BARNACLES OF OLD AGE." Well if that didn't make my day......................................

Probably the name came from some med school graduate in his twenties who hadn't yet learned to show respect for those of us who are older and have more experience.

Some new terminology would be nice.

Jeez Lainey, you have barnacles! Do you hang out under piers or something?
When I go to the dermatologist, she says I have lots of sun damage and I need to try to stay out of the sun. Yeah, right. I've lived in southern California my whole life. Like, how is that possible? I'll just take up the Moslem way of life and wear full covering clothes from now on.
