So in the end, it does not matter.
Although we type here, and have the chatter
The bottom line is very clear
It is our health that is very dear.

So enjoy life while you can
No matter if a woman or man
So if aches and pains make you feel old
Live life to the fullest and whatever you do be bold!
Amen.

The one thing that makes me feel old is when I have teeth problems. Like getting a new crown. I feel stupid when I get a hangover, kinda shameful. Aches and pains I get, I deserve, from exercise, so far.

I have aches and pains every day. Chronic lower back problems that I've learned how to manage. I've got shoulder injuries from the job that just doesn't seem to heal. And I've got tennis elbow that hurts all the time. Guess how I got that? Believe it or not, from using a computer mouse.
All things considered, I'm very lucky that I'm still relatively fit and healthy. For an older guy, I do what really is a young man's job. Fortunately, brain power works over braun to get the job done. I've not gotten to the stage where I feel old. I can't afford it just yet. Through all the aches and pains and with a little luck, my mind can continue to tell my body what it needs to do and not let it tell my mind what it can't do.

Matt
For off the top of the vintage head
(At first I was thinking old dylan but I think a W Guthrie melodie would fit.)

I'd have to say "Not really", at least physically. The only issue I have now that I didn't when I was younger is a pinched nerve from a bit of arthritis in my neck. It causes my left arm to tingle/ache sometimes. But I've had it a long time and I deal with it. That's pretty much it for me...and I plan to keep it that way!

No aches or pains ..... yet. Mine is more psychological....like when some 28-year-old refers to "people your age"....I don't feel like "people my age" so it's kinda depressing to think that others around me see me that way. I feel like I'm about 26 (though the mirror says NOT - I just stay away from those - especially ones with fluorescent lighting), but I'd like people to see me for my energy and outlook .... my personality rather than my age.

At times sure! For example, a couple years ago we were going to Vegas. You know how you are not supposed to pack your medication in your suitcase? Well on that particular trip I noticed that my "medicine bag" was getting bigger than my makeup bag. That's how I know we are getting older.

We wake up with various aches and pains and can tell if we did something we don't normally do, but overall still feel young. And if we feel old, we'll do as suggested above and take a ride in the "S" and forget about it all!

I never have considered myself old, but ever since October when I got the shingles, I've felt tired. Now I've caught a cold, so I'm sniffly . Since I don't want to get snot on my steering wheel and its r***ning outside, the S is snug and warm in the garage, so I can't get my shot of eternal youth from driving my favorite car. I need to hear a few poor babies, and I'll be energized again.
