Default Do you eat breakfast?

Time for another poll. Maybe this is a re-run...

Do you eat breakfast? They say it's the most important meal of the day. They (not sure who "they" are) say your metabolism works better if you eat breakfast and that it's important to weight control.

I never go without breakfast, even if it's just a toast or a banana, I can't make it until noon without food. Generally, I have toast, or cereal, skim milk and a little OJ. Occasionally on weekends, I'll scramble some eggs or Rick will make an omelette.

I know a few folks who have coffee, eat some crackers or something at lunch and only eat a "real" meal at dinner time. That doesn't work for me. What about you?

If I'm not leaving the house, I tend to eat breakfast around noon. When I am leaving in the morning, I'll have yoghurt if it's a volunteer day, or oatmeal (with peanut butter and brown sugar) on an ElliptiGO day. Sometimes I'll have french toast at noon, for breakfast.

If I didn't eat breakfast I'm afraid I would wind up in a tower with a sniper rifle or some other crazy thing. Missing any meal makes me very crabby.

Granola bar or cereal bar in the car on the way to work. Sleep is too precious to give up for time to make breakfast. I'm typically in the car within 30 minutes of my alarm going off.

During the week I eat a big bowl of Cheerios. On the weekend it is usually something different. This has been my routine for the past 59 years and I don't plan on changing.

Now I do believe I have done this poll before as your bowl of Cheerios sounds familiar.

We have quite a supply of Cheerios at our house as well. Multi Grain and Honey Nut. I still like the Original ones too.

Have you tried the Peanut Butter Cheerios? I'm waiting for them to go on sale. We bought a few of the other flavors and ended up giving them away.

I always have breakfast; weekdays it is usually eggbeaters with some kind of hot sauce on an English muffin and a cup of coffee. Sometimes on weekends as well but I usually treat myself to an English muffin with preserves, my favorite being blueberry.

When I travel (rarely), I usually mix raisin bran with some yogurt and, of course, the cup of coffee.

I only eat original. Usually buy several double boxes at BJ's per month. I use to have a bowl dry in the evening but have cut back on those.
