If you are digging for story material you don't want to put-off the very people you are interviewing. Who talks to people driving an S Class Merc. . . I don't. Do you?

I watched this on Netflix Monday night. I liked it. It's got lots of parallels to current times in politics and climate change, in my opinion.

Sure. If I ever actually meet someone who is driving an S Class and wants to chat. But that's not too likely down here in the land of $70,000 pickups.

Snowed in tonight, so I watched Female Agents, a 2008 French movie based on a real person in WWII on Amazon. A good story but a little hard to watch as the subscript really moved fast.

Don’t Look Up was like a second rate comedy. Some of it funny, but I can’t recommend it.

I thought this was a great move on Amazon. Into the White. A group of British and German soldiers find themselves stranded in the wilderness after an aircraft battle. It is not your normal war movie - not at all - but a great human interest movie based loosely on a real life event.

Went over to AJ's house today where we watched Dune on Amazon. It is a really good treatment of the Frank Hebert classic SiFi novel. It is only part one of two films but the extra time is used to good effect, including many important details that were not included in the 1984 version

I also finally got around to watching Don't Look Up. Yeah, I enjoyed it too and yeah, the criticisms of politics, science denial, social media, and the cult of billionaire business entrepeneurs were spot on satire.
Not overly clever storytelling but funny at times and kind of touching at others.

There were a couple of hugely inaccurate plot points but to go into these would result in spoilers.
