I expect I will. I liked the original a lot in spite of its problems. Would like to see the new one on the big screen.

From The Week:

Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures have confirmed that director Denis Villeneuve's adaptation of Frank Herbert's classic sci-fi novel Dune will get a second installment. Dune: Part Two is scheduled to hit theaters in October 2023.

so how many of the original books did this version of Dune cover?

A long time ago, I read the dune series, in one weekend no less.
I only read short stories, you know meant to be read in one sitting.

^ It has been over 35 years since I read the Dune series. I would have to pick up the book and read it again. I would be surprised if the movie covered the entire Book 1.

Free Guy

I rented this from Red Box and fell asleep before getting very far into it, last night. I finished it tonight. I thought it was fun and I'm glad I didn't take it back this morning even though I got charged for another night.

We enjoyed it. It was a light, fun movie.

For me, very few "scary" movies have much to offer other than a couple of jump scares, and I can get those from good movies like Jaws.
I always thought Tremors was a little gem but I guess that's more of a monster pic.
Zombies can be fun. See Zombieland and Shaun of the Dead. But the Holloween's and the Friday the Thirteenth's, you can have them.
