Lol, I guess she lost that gig , and pretty much every other gig out there. I became a HM movie fan well after her scandal

Tonight's kill the night since we can't go anywhere was I'm Your Woman. Too long (2 hours) and too slow. Maybe a 6 on a scale of 10. We found it hard to follow; maybe with a pencil and pad to write down names it would be better - - or - - maybe we should drink less. We love the Marvelous Ms Maisel (best show on Prime) and it was odd to see her as a drama gal but she was good.

Watched Trial of the Chicago Seven yesterday. I thought it was great. Never understood what happened there, I was just going in the army during the 1968 Democratic convention and in S. Korea during the trial, so I kind of missed it all.

We watched Ma Rainey's Black Bottom on Netflix this afternoon.
Technically very well done. Not exactly an uplifting film. pretty intense.

With no reason to go out in past days we've been watching old movies like the Godfather series, and Star Wars. The Force Awakens was on earlier tonight, Return of the Jedi is on now. Stuff we've seen many times over, but it never gets old or boring.

Every time I watch a Godfather movie I seem to discover a new line or detail that I missed during previous viewings, lol, it happens all the time.

I thought the same. It was pretty gritty and somewhat dark!

Watching director's cut of Lawrence of Arabia, a movie we never get tired of. And recording it.
