I watched the movie Richard Jewell, I liked it and thought the acting was very well done especially by the actor who played Richard Jewell and Sam Rockwell who played Richard's lawyer was excellent as well I've liked everything I have seen him in he is good at his craft.

Watched First Reformed. Good movie but it has a very strange ending - a puzzling ending for sure. Should you watch it, you might find this article of the ending of some interest.

Thanks for the recommendation, Scoots. We watched this and wow, it was super interesting -- and a little bit scary!

The thing I'm thinking about now that I've finished the show is how interesting it is that people are fed "news" differently. It's tailored to what you've seen or clicked on. It's starting to make sense why there is so much political divisiveness.

Watched Walk on Water. I thought it was a very good movie about an Israeli Mossad agent tracking down ex-Nazi officers who might still be alive. Pretending to be a tourist guide he befriends the Nazi's grandson. The two men set out on a tour of the country Israel and the boy challenges the agent's values. I watched it on Amazon in English with sub-titles for the other languages - jewish, german, etc.

I saw the Israeli movie, Sand Storm, last night on Netflix.
The film is set in a Bedouin village in southern Israel. It is a very interesting depiction of a forbidden love affair of a girl who wants to marry her school friend, but has to confront the reality of arranged marriage that is absolutely required by the culture. It is at times very emotional and difficult to watch, but I recommend it as an almost documentary presentation of Bedouin village culture. It is in Arabic with subtitles. The cinematography is excellent, and the film, from 2016, won a number of outstanding prizes.
