We have seem both Ford vs Ferrari and A Beautiful Day In the Neighborhood and they were great.
This week we saw Knives Out. We both enjoyed it. A good comedy, drama, who done it movie that kept us entertained through out. Daniel Craig is the new Columbo!

Another vote for Ford V Ferrari.
Not just a car guy movie but well put together on all levels.
The wife noticed there was no female relationship for Shelby in the movie. He was married 7 times- would have made a long movie.
This old fart really appreciated the mid 60s cars/scenery

Earlier I said I didn't think Matt Damon did a good job as the snake oil salesman aka Shelby. Someone who knew him personally said he thought Matt did a outstanding job of portraying him in speach and pattern, etc. So, maybe I deserve to be corrected for a second time on this thread.
Never-the-less I do not hold Shelby as high up on the pedestal as most do. Yes, he could sell ice to the people up very north of us in the winter - I will give him that..

Not sure whether to put this here or in "TV Shows" but I can recommend the NetFlix documentary "Shelby American" without reservation to all the gearheads here-abouts. Adam Carolla produced this homage to Carol Shelby which features a lot of photos and footage that had not been previously exposed to the public. Interview footage includes everyone from Peter Brock to Mario Andretti with plenty of other well known motor sports icons and former Shelby employees providing insights into Shelby, the man, the myth, the legend*. Two hours well spent.

I watched Gone Baby Gone. Not exactly a Christmas movie but this 2007 movie was a heck of good mystery movie with its twists and turns. A little over done on the seedy side of Boston but it was clear they didn't go far for extras.
