It made it to the "free" channel - Netflix. Wife had read the book but didn't recall the ending. Not my kind of movie. Emotional, sure. Enjoyed it, not really. Best scene in the movie - hospital, "You have a big heart".

Saw it a few days ago with wifey. We both liked it.

Just watched LA Confidential. Saw it a few years ago but it was worth a rewatch. Cast includes Kevin Spacey, Russell Crowe, Guy Pearce, James Cromwell, David Strathairn, Kim Basinger and Danny DeVito. Pretty good cast.

Plot is ok if somewhat predictable. Style is neo-nior. Definitely worth a free watch on YouTube, especially if you have a good ad-blocker..

I remember the red, red lipstick Kim Basinger wore in most of that movie's scenes.

I finished watching the first season of The Night Agent on Netflix. It's been my late, late show. I won't say it's great but it got better further into the 10 episodes.

We really enjoyed the first couple of seasons of Ms. Mazel on Prime. The final season has been playing. No where near as good.

I want to check out Heat on Netflix. I don't think I've seen it before.

A League of Ther Own-I had seen this movie when it first came out but when I discovered it on Netflix I had to see it again. It is an enjoyable movie. While not absolutely historically accurate, it tells a nice story and reminds people that there actually was an All American Girls Baseball League. The acting is very good for a light hearted movie, especially Tom Hanks as Jimmy Dugan, Geena Davis as Dottie Hinson and Lori Petty as Kit Keller. Actually all of the acting was good. A feel good movie well worth seeing.

The question, however, does remain. Did Kit knock the ball out of Dottie's hand or did Dottle let the ball go on purpose?

Good art tells a story. Great art leaves it to the audience to decide what the story is.

Of course Dottie eased her grip on that ball.

Watched 1995’s Heat with DeNiro, Pacino, Kilmer on Netflix. Saw it years ago but I’d forgotten how long it was – just shy of 3 hours – I did not get to bed until 2:45am.

Really good flick. Loved the interaction between DeNiro's and Pacino's characters.

We watched Mudbound on Netflix tonight. Tense movie and it really fit into the Memorial Day weekend even if that was never its intent. I also watched The Son but I can't recommended it . .
