The world's fastest manned vehicle with an airbreathing powerplant:

Actual top speed is still classified by the U.S. government, but known to be well over Mach 3. Somehow I doubt the great state of Illinois would issue this plate without being able to support the facts behind it.

Probably took a payoff to the local "crew" to get that plate special made in the "plate factory". Isn't that how most things "get done" in "Joisey"?
No such thing. Not in New Jersey. Our politicians are of the highest calibre. Ethical and honest as the day is long. They would never consider taking a payoff for any reason. Not in New Jersey.

(psst....I don't really believe it either, but it sounded good. Either way, Sebring is still the fastest color.)

You sure you don't live in New Jersey? I know some of those same people.

Silverstone is fastest because the nuclear stardust particles in the paint ionize the surrounding air causing a negative charge in the atmosphere reducing wind resistance and thereby making Silverstone the fastest.

I've never seen one from that angle, usually they're in the rear view mirror.

Looks like the Nighthawk got a new set of mufflers for it's 21st birthday. I bought one of the re-introduced models in 1991.

How old is the mower?
The Nighthawk is all 1985 original, except for fluids, brakes, clutch, and filters.
53,000 miles and still screams!

Mower is a Toro, and only 2...
