Neither one. We took a ride to Tampa yesterday to listen to a pair of speakers I want to buy. I wasn't online much all weekend and I rarely visit the other forums on S2KI because this one is the only one that matters. 
My PPD has come down from 9 to 8.9.

Hi all
Been busy as heck out here in rainy Southern California, so my ppd has sufered a bit. (Especially here in Vintage)
Keep your eyes on the S2ki home page starting next week and you'll be hearing much more from me. Can't tell more yet...

I missed my S2ki again, on Monday night and Tuesday morning. My computer wouldn't go online although the other three in the house would. I took the power away from the router and then gave it back. Guess I taught it who the boss is! My computer works again.

My 84 year old mother loves her computer, her AOL and some on line games. If there are any technical difficulties, I'm the first one she calls and she wants "tech service" right away.
The other day she was having a problem. It was difficult to figure out what she was trying to tell me her problem was. I was guessing she had "locked up" the computer.
BUT, because I was not home when the SOS came in, she had also called my brother who was on his way over.
Anyway, I told her to try to restart the computer, but she said the mouse would not work. I told her to use the power switch or reset button whatever she had to turn the computer off and boot it back up again. She said she had already tried that, and it still was "frozen."
I suggested since my brother was already on his way let him look at at and have him let me know what the problem was.
He called me later. For some reason, my 84 year old Mom had a "senior moment." When she said she had already turned off the computer and turned it on again, she had only turned the MONITOR on and off.
Poor Mom. My brother got her going again.
Keep in mind, in an effort to save electrictity, when she powers down her computer ALL components are turned off. Monitor, speakers, printer.........No green lights shine in that house.
so sometimes it's hard to tell where her problem is.
Moral of the off topic post: If Mom can't get to her online games and email, she feels as we do when S2KI is down, a bit lost and out of sorts.
