One Pontiac and my last GM car 1982 Trans Am 305 4bbl.........my wake up call was getting beat by a co-worker's 1985 Toyota Corola GTS 1.6L at the local 1/8 mile dragstrip

One month later I bought my 1st Honda an 85 CRX

I had a 68 Pontiac Tempest Station Wagon with the OHC inline 6. It ran better when I removed the #1 plug wire completely.
Guy I sold it to drove it from the East coast to Montana with the wire off too !

Buick is the #3 seller in China and I saw scads of 'em on the highways in 2007. LeSabre is very popular as the "businessman's car" in the big cities...usually black or charcoal IIRC. The other popular cars in China are Audi and VW, but there are a few Honda's floating around too

Here is one decked out for a wedding in Guilin in the south....

I used to be a pontiac guy back in my teenage years. My first real 'hot rod' was a 71 grand prix with a 400 4bbl quadrajet carb. headers and race cam. Next came a 71 Lemans T-37 (poor man's gto) with a 455 holley 850 carb. headers etc, I could smoke the 50's series tires with that one! Last but not least was my 78 gold edition trans am 400 4bbl headers race cam muncie 4speed.
I'm sad and suprised to see Pontiac go I would have thought Buick would of been the first choice.
