Never owned a Pontiac. I've been thinking about buying one, though. Potiac Vibe (really a Toyota Matrix -- it's based on the Corolla platform)

Had a '69 pontiac firebird. Loved it.

The Vibe IMHO is really a nice car. Good ride, comfortable seats, and surprising space for it's size.

Growing up our family, had mostly older junk cars....When things got a bit better, Dad bought a Chevy Impala 1963, purchased in 1968. I learned how to drive on that V8.

Most of my uncles were Chevy people. I don't recall anyone having a Pontiac.

My 1st car was a 61 Pontiac Starchief. The only other Pontiac I had was a 77 Trans Am, like the Smokey and the Bandit car, bought it new and sold it after 8 years and about 48k miles. It was a pretty speedy car for it's day.

Did have a 421 Grand Prix; I think it was a 64 or 65. Nice looking car. Engine blew on the Pensy Turnpike at 48k miles; replaced with a 400 CID from a junk yard. Sold it soon thereafter.

I'll bet you were a real hottie in that car. I remember all of the gals flipped over those S&B transams.

Never owned a pontiac (or an olds, for that matter). I have been thinking a lot lately about 05-06 GTOs though.

My Dad only owned one Pontiac.....1969 Tempest 2dr coupe with 3 on the tree and a 350 V8 I found this 'sleeper' on the Pontiac lot and talked him into trading his 1966 Dodge 440 2dr h-top on it

Hearing about the demise of the marque made me a little sad. Last Friday at Spring Carlisle, I saw a good number of 50s/60s Pontiacs pass by both the auction platform and also in the Car Corral.

Right after hearing the 'Pontiac" news on the radio, I was driving behind a Solstice....and thinking..."what would I be thinking if I owned that car?"
