7:14 Am and 4:18 PM so around 9 hours of daylight. + around an hour or so of twilight.

at this time of year the sun never gets real high in the sky. not really necessary except when your driving looking directly into the sun.

I'll take June!

Almost twice as much sunlight..... no wonder we all drag thru the winter... our batteries are only being charged half the time... then you figure you don't get out into the sun much during the winter (excluding Florida).... so we get even less sun!

If they days are getting longer, why are the years going by faster?

I am convinced that the passage of time, as you age, is a function of perception of percentage. Another words if you were a 10 yo and parents said you were going on a trip next year it would amount to 10% of the time you have been alive. To me this is a large number. If on the other hand, for myself, a one year wait is on 1.6% of the time I have been alive. A very small horizon. Hence time seems to speed up as you age.

I did notice that it was dark all the way to work this morning....

Had been getting light halfway to work last week!

Was nice seeing the sun come up in the rear view mirror.... now I'll have to wait till mid-April to get back to seeing that again!

But on the bright side... will stay lighter later now!

Look no further than next fall.

I hope I die during Standard Time. I was born during Daylight Savings time and I don't want to give my bonus hour back. That's also why I can never move back to the Eastern time zone.
