Detroit Trip June 2024

Good thing Zug Island was being shut down, not likely in operation as much as it was in the past, a major eyesore in Detroit and the likely source of the Windsor Hum phenomena that plagued Windsor residents for years.
Did you get yourself one of these T-Shirts as a memento of your trip ?

If I could ride in anything they have in the museum it would be that big C&O steam engine.

According to the description, it is the actual car. The Secret Service had it rebuilt to protect future occupants.

Yeah, it's the real deal. Nothing is phony at the HF Museum. Awesome place, as is Greenfield Village. The Motown museum made me recall when we went to Sun Studio's last year... and we took over the place.

Forgot a couple pics…Detroit style pizza and the LinkedIn sign. Nephew works there. Can anyone identify what the sign is made of?

I like a good slice of Detroit style pizza, it is a bit heavy for me to eat frequently , but it is good.
